pictures did not show damages in place such as holes in walls. Be sure to do walk through and take own photos so you won't potentially be charged later. Other than that it was a peaceful stay in a quite place.

This was a very clean place. It was near the end of a dead end road so there was no road noise and the lay out of the chateau was.very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

The host was great and responsive, however the units just need some TLC. One unit had not been cleaned. It smelled of cigarette smoke and one of the bed’s linens had not been washed. Cleaning services came out to replace the sheets within 30 minutes, so that was good. But the smoke smell was bad enough that I went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies and fabric febreeze to make it through the night. The other unit we stayed in did not have any odors but could have used a cleaning as well.

We were very disappointed. The place was not clean and needed quite a bit of maintenance. The kitchen stove was dirty and greasy, the refrigerator outside had stains, same with the top of the garbage can. The toliet rocked so much when we sat on it and leaked water. The freezer side of the fridge leaked onto the floor. The bathroom sink was chipped and had deep cracks in the sink part. There was visible dirt where the filter for the ac system is. The living room floor was sticky and the coffee table had old drinking glass ring marks. I have stayed at many airbnb's but this stay has been my worst. We would never go back or refer anyone to stay there..
