Over all of that it was a great stay I definitely would book it again nice little getaway for my family didn’t really ge Positive: The house I had had a good area for my kids n dog to play Negative: Didn’t have a broom to sweep bc I have kids lord n the ice machine had mold in it my kids was trying get ice n I wish you had a TV in the bedroom. My kids watched the one in the front room.

First let me comment on the Host, absolutely a 5 star out of 5! Very accommodating, nice lodging with a tailored design, flooring was etched & appealing, not gauche. Living area spacious, bedrooms were right sized & bathroom was more than adequate. Kitchen & laundry area proportional to the square footage. Lodge was nestled in a country setting yet shops & stores within a few miles of the lodging. If you like a lot of noise & to hear people talking through the walls stay in a hotel. If you like a peaceful stay this is your place. We will stay there again in the future.

Positive: I would stay at this location again. Quiet location. Thought the area was sketchy at first, but was pleasantly surprised at this gem in the woods. Not too far from Hammond. Comfortable bed, no one bothered us. One issue was there was no toilet paper in the place. We happened to have some with us, LOL.

Great stay at a great price Positive: Nice, quiet, and clean. Would definitely stay again. Negative: Only downside for us being on motorcycles is the 200 yard road into the chateau’s is fine gravel.

Compared to other airbnb properties on our current trip, this was the best value for the space. Quiet area, plenty of space with a full kitchen and laundry area. Big closets and dresser space, spacious bathroom with garden tub. Would be perfect for an extended stay, though we were only there over night. I do recommend it!

The house was perfect except the toilet doesn’t stop running and the beds have bugs. My children and I were eaten alive. Oh I still haven’t received neither one of my supposed to have been “automatic” deposits back yet!

what a wonderful place to rest our heads & relax before a super packed day of driving. we got to unwind & shower & all that good stuff. & plenty of food options around. we had food delivered which was such a relief for us. plenty of space inside to stretch out & a back door that leads to a nice little sitting area. a great stay for our first time in tickfaw.

This is our third stay with David since July of last year . We have been pleased each stay. This time was an interesting though because down the way another renter stole 40 iphones the night before. So when we was returning back to our chateau we witnessed Tangiphoa finest taking care of the situation professionally and courteous. They were even nice to speak and let us know what was going on. I meantioned this particular event to point out this is the first time anything such as this has happened since we have started staying with David in July. I also wanted to give an account if the area the home is located in. The area is quiet quaint and serene. I would like to think this is a isolated incident. You are in the middle of nowhere lol but it worth it. Yes you have to drive to NOLA and or BR but it's not a far drive. We are about to book again for March lol thanks again David.
